These paintings are 6x6", 8x8", or 10x10", shiny enamel on panel, some over a layer of concrete (a beautiful painting ground). Most of them incorporate pearls, little brilliants, or glass marbles. One has a bone. The flowers were captured via the miracle of modern technology from the botanical illustrations of J-P Redoute, then overpainted. |
